Education

Maumelle is just 15 minutes from the commercial center of Little Rock. Maumelle students therefore have access to educational facilities in all the three school districts of Little Rock, North Little Rock, and Pulaski County Special School Districts.

There are numerous public education institutions specializing in different areas located in and around Maumelle which offer fully accredited educational programs from the pre-kindergarten through high school level. There are also many private schools here. Special schools include the Arkansas School for the Blind and the Arkansas School for the Deaf.

The Greater Little Rock area is home to twelve colleges and universities, including the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the UALR School of Law. The other schools offer a variety of degrees ranging from Associate to Doctorate.

The main floor of the Center includes a gymnastics room, meeting room, offices, and a health club.
